We will break down the recall step by step, first teaching the behavior, then teaching the dog to love their recall, even coming off of tough environmental distractions.
Week 1: Let’s start at the start! What is a recall? What will be our criteria? This is the week we start teaching our dogs exactly what we mean when we use our recall cue.
Week 2: Good dog training always I closes a plan to make sure your dog is crystal clear on what you are asking. This week we make we do that.
Week 3: A recall is only effective if we can rely on it! How do you work around distractions and what to do if your dog does not recall on cue are the topics of this lesson.
