K9 Playtime

Family FUNdamentals
This class is for your older dog or puppy.  You’ll learn how to effectively use rewards to get behaviors you want from your dog and you’ll learn how to effectively use the clicker.  Family dog is open to any dog regardless of age.  Topic include: How to use a clicker, attention training, sit, down, stand, come when called, walk politely on leash, guarding of valued objects, collar handling and body handling, and leave it.
New session starts Wednesday, Feb. 21st,  at 6:55p.m. 
Cost is $135, for 6 weeks.

Progressive Competition Obedience
This class is for the student that would like to train for a Competition
title.  The class will include exercise from Novice thru Utility.  This is
an inclusive class for dogs just starting toward their Novice titles,
to dogs training for Utility.

for you and your dog in a supportive environment.
Food, toys and clickers encouraged!
Mondays at 9:45a.m.
Mondays at 7p.m.
Tuesdays at 8p.m. (beginning Feb. 21st.)
Wednesdays at 8p.m.
Cost is $125 for 6 weeks.

CGC Class (Canine Good Citizen)
The Canine Good Citizen class is a positive class to teach you and your dog the skills required to obtain the CGC.  The class is 8 weeks long and covers the exercises needed to pass the CGC test including.  Week 8 is a certified CGC evaluator will be present to test dogs.
Next class starts on Monday, March 12th  2012,  at 6:00p.m.
Class is 8 weeks long and the cost is $180.00 for 6 weeks,
and includes the CGC test on week 8.


New!!  SUPER SNIFFER CLASSES!!!!
Come and join the fun of teaching your dog the search skills needed to compete in the scentwork trials! This class is open to every dog and handler and will cover teaching your dog to search, how to read your dog's indications, and understanding how scent works. This class will combine everything your dog loves: sniffing, searching, hunting, eating and playing! Dogs must be crated or kept in a vehicle when not working to increase drive and desire to work.

Class is 6 weeks long and the fee is $135

Private in-home training
This is a great way to train your dog in the environment you live in.
Behaviors issues are also best addressed in this environment. 
Fee is $125.00 an hour.

Private lessons at K9 Playtime
Get your questions answered and train at your own pace.  
One on one attention accelerates your training. 
Fee is $70.00 per hour.

Board and Train Service
The convenience of boarding your dog while on vacation or working on training skills.  Your companion stays at K-9 Playtime or LIttle Paws Inn,
and every day will have private training while staying overnight.
Fee is $70 plus the cost of overnights.

Day training
Your dog gets training while at daycare.  Drop your dog off at K9 Playtime and while there I’ll train your dog in the areas that you would like addressed.  This is a good way to jumpstart your training program. 
Fee is $70.00 per hour.

Puppy FUNdamentals
This class is designed for puppies that are 20 weeks and under at the start of class.  The class will cover the most important time for training in the dog's life.  Socialization to dogs and people is stressed and answers to many of the most common problems in puppy raising are answered.  Topics include:  reward based training, puppy biting, socialization, guarding objects, housebreaking, hyper behavior, sit, down, come, crate training, come command, grooming, children and dogs, jumping on people, walking politely on leash, and paying attention to owner.
Enrollment is on-going.  You may start at any time, each  session is 6 weeks long.  Wednesdays at 5:45p.m.   Cost is $135.
